1. About Tikora

Tikora is an online marketplace that connects event organizers with customers seeking to purchase tickets for events including but not limited to concerts, comedy shows, sports, workshops, movies, and other experiences. Tikora acts solely as an intermediary platform and is not the organizer of any events listed on the platform.

2. User Accounts

By creating an account on Tikora, you agree that:

  • You are at least 18 years old or have parental consent
  • Information provided during registration is accurate and complete
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You will not create multiple accounts or share your account
  • Tikora reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

3. Booking and Payments

  • All prices displayed include applicable platform fees and taxes
  • Tikora follows a transparent pricing policy with zero hidden fees
  • Payment is processed securely through authorized payment gateways
  • A booking confirmation with QR code is generated upon successful payment
  • Tikora is not responsible for failed transactions due to payment gateway issues
  • Maximum ticket limit per user per event is 10 unless specified otherwise

4. Cancellation and Refunds

Please refer to our Refund Policy for detailed information. In summary:

  • If an event is cancelled by the organizer, customers receive a full refund
  • Customer-initiated cancellations follow the event-specific refund policy (standard, flexible, or no-refund)
  • Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method
  • Platform fees may or may not be refundable depending on the circumstances

5. Event Organizers

  • Organizers are solely responsible for the event content, quality, and execution
  • Organizers must provide accurate event information including date, time, venue, and pricing
  • Organizer payouts are processed after successful event completion
  • Tikora deducts a commission (displayed in the organizer dashboard) from ticket sales
  • Organizers agree to the Organizer Agreement

6. Intermediary Status

Tikora operates as an intermediary marketplace under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000. Tikora does not organize, host, or guarantee the quality of any events. Tikora facilitates the connection between organizers and customers and provides ticketing infrastructure.

7. Prohibited Activities

  • Using bots or automated tools to purchase tickets
  • Reselling tickets above face value + 10% (except through Tikora Resale)
  • Creating fraudulent events or listings
  • Impersonating other users or organizers
  • Attempting to manipulate reviews, ratings, or analytics
  • Using the platform for illegal activities

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Tikora platform including logos, design, code, and features are the intellectual property of Tikora. Event content (images, descriptions) belongs to the respective organizers.

9. Limitation of Liability

Tikora shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform, attendance at events, or interactions between users and organizers. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the specific booking in question.

10. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall first be addressed through Tikora customer support. If unresolved, disputes shall be settled through arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat of arbitration being Hyderabad, India. These terms are governed by the laws of India.

11. Changes to Terms

Tikora reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
